Method
- Cream peanut butter and butter.
- Add sugars gradually creaming.
- Add beaten egg and vanilla
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda; stir into the peanut butter mixture.
- Chill the dough for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Roll chilled dough into balls about the size of a walnut.
- Flatten with a fork dipped in water.
- Bake cookies for approximately 10 minutes.
