He is a Faithful High Priest

What is the gospel?

Jesus said. “He has anointed me to preach the Gospel.”

So what is the gospel? The Gospel is the story of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
It’s the good news that when you were dead in sins, Jesus died for you that you might live in righteousness; that you might be free from the bondage of sin and live in the freedom and in all of the blessings God has in store for you.

You can decide today that the blessings of God are available to you and that is God is offering you a better way of living. You can decide to have a life that is filled to the brim with the goodness of God.

Because Jesus died for you and took all of your sins and all that sin represents, then you can be free from all that sin has brought into your life. You can be free from guilt, shame, poverty, sickness, the second death.

Jesus blood does not just cover sin like the offering of the Old Testament. Instead, His blood cleanses you completely from all sin.

The blood covenant.

Jesus shed His blood so that you could enter into a covenant with Him. A covenant is an agreement, a legal binding contract. Jesus made a binding, legal agreement with you that all He has is now yours. And all you have is His. Jesus is giving you forgiveness and indescribable blessings. All you have to give Him is your all of your failures, all of your sorrow, all of your shame.

His promises to you are yes and amen. He is not withholding the blessing from you.

Just say this to yourself, “The blessings of the Lord are for me.”

Understand and know that God hears your groanings. He sees what is troubling your heart and what brings worry to your mind. Your Heavenly Father sees your anxiety and stress. He knows what you need before you ever go to Him in prayer. He is there to help meet that need based on the covenant He has with you.

Go through the New Testament and find scriptures that promise to meet the needs that you now have right now. Write those promises down, read them daily. In fact, read them several times a day. Remind God daily of His promises to you.

As EW Kenyon says in his book The Blood Covenant, “Every prayer, every worship is accepted by the Father when it is presented in the Name of Jesus. Jesus is a merciful and faithful High Priest. He can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities.” Heb 4:14-16.

Jesus wants to bring healing for your broken heart. Jesus wants to take your needs and your sorrow and your confusion and He wants to wipe it all away.

He is a faithful High Priest and He is touched with the feelings of your weaknesses, your hesitations, and your uncertainties.

Come to Him based on the Covenant of His blood and receive the blessings He has waiting for you!
